Are you a Senior Communications Manager with significant experience of planning and coordinating campaigns across a large organisation?
This is a fantastic opportunity reporting to the Deputy Director of Marketing, Communications and Digital Services to act as the single point of contact for key internal stakeholders, providing a marketing and communications consultancy. The role will develop and deliver Sue Ryder’s key communications campaigns, drawing on the skill sets of an experienced multidisciplinary team of marketing experts,
About You
You will have significant experience of creating marketing and communication plans, ideally in a large and complex organisation, identifying channel mix, with an understanding and appreciation of the marketing and communications disciplines involved. Ideally you will have experience of planning, project managing and delivering large scale consumer facing campaigns, to budget and on time. You will have proven marketing and communications experience within the voluntary sector, leadership skills and keen attention to detail with a creative approach and good negotiation skills in order to collaborate effectively with a range of key stakeholders. In order to succeed in this role you will have demonstrable experience of translating marketing and communication briefs into tactical delivery plans by channel, audience and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the overarching communications calendar, reflecting Sue Ryders priorities and ensuring that communications and projects are scheduled to achieve maximum reach and impact with appropriate resources.
• Evaluate, review and managethe central briefing process for Marketing and Communications, recommending improvements to ensure we can deliver impactful, integrated communications at pace
• Review and prioritise new incoming briefs for key projects, ensuring they have clear objectives, audiences and timelines and are aligned to Sue Ryders goals
• Identify opportunities to amplify Sue Ryder’s messaging within campaign activity and connect with other internal colleagues such as fundraising, healthcare, volunteering, influencing and retail, to maximise impact
• Be a key member of the Strategic Operations Development group that supports with the development of fundraising campaigns and projects
