£9.09 per hour plus enhancements

About the Role:
We are looking for Housekeeping Assistants to work on a shift rota to include weekends/bank holidays on a permanent basis. The pre-planned shifts are between the hours of 8am – 4pm.
You will be working with a team to maintain the highest possible standard of cleanliness throughout our Hospice and Day Hospice. Your job will include laundry, daily vacuuming, mopping and cleaning of patient’s rooms, bathrooms and toilets.
Experience and skills required:
• Able to work as part of a team
• Able to communicate verbally and in writing
• Understanding of COSSH and Health and Safety Regulations

Thorpe Hall is a Sue Ryder hospice, based in Peterborough. We’re here for people aged 18 and over who are living with conditions like cancer, heart failure and lung disease. We offer a range of support to patients and their families including inpatient care in our 20 bed hospice, a day service for those with long-term conditions and support in the community through our befriending, Hospice at Home and bereavement services.
