Clinical Lead Physiotherapist – Neuro-Rehabilitation
£39,858-£43,544 Full time (Part time/job share considered)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our incredible multi-disciplinary team at a state of the art neuro-rehabilitation and care centre in Fulwood, Preston which opened in March 2020. The centre offers specialised Nursing care and rehabilitation to clients with neurological conditions, acquired brain injury and complex, life limiting neurological presentations. The environment offers clients the opportunity to receive person centred care and rehabilitation with the use of facilities including spacious individual en-suite bedrooms, therapy kitchen, rehab gym and hydrotherapy pool.
We are looking for a suitably skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Physiotherapist to join us to take a key clinical and leadership role within our therapy team.
The role will include:
• Complex caseload of neuro-rehab clients
• Provide expert neuro-rehab clinical support and guidance to junior therapists and assistants
• Line management duties including individual supervision of junior therapists, peer support, appraisal and training
• Service development and quality improvement activity
• Oversee referral, admission and discharge processes from a clinical perspective and provide expert clinical opinion as required
Experience of working in an in-patient and/or community neuro-rehabilitation setting and previous leadership experience is essential.
