About Us
Wheatfields Hospice is in Headingley, Leeds. We provide expert palliative care. We support you when you’re living with a life-limiting condition, and also help your loved ones and family.
About the Role
**Knowledge of systems & processes is an advantage** You will be line managing our reception team, this consists of 2 contracted receptionists and 3/4 bank receptionists and volunteers.
To be successful you will have experience/knowledge in the following areas:
• Excellent Administration experience
• Experience of managing or supervising a team
• Microsoft Word/Excel software
• Communication & listening skills, including an excellent telephone manner
• Experience of supporting a nursing/medical & wider multi-disciplinary team within an inpatient unit
• Finance experience e.g. processing purchase orders/ledger, money transfers, banking - desirable
• Ability to transcribe audio recordings into written documents – desirable
• Secretarial Training & Qualification – desirable
• Working knowledge of SystmOne - desirable
About You
You will have vast administration experience, pro-active, organised & flexible in your approach with the ability to adapt to various tasks/changing priorities.
As an experienced Administrator you will provide our clinical, medical, community and support services teams with general clerical/administrative support. The role will involve working flexibly throughout the hospice, including covering our reception and working on the inpatient unit.
