Stagenhoe Neurological Centre are currently recruiting a Therapy Assistant to join our bank team here at Stagenhoe, which is a Neurological Care Centre sited close to the Hertfordshire town of Hitchin.
This role will also include working alongside an Occupational Therapist and delivering a combination of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy programmes.

About the role:
•Carry out assigned tasks under the direction of the Physiotherapist
•To ensure that the service users’ individual rights and choices are actively promoted and supported, and their beliefs and preferences appropriately acknowledged
•To provide support as appropriate to the Physiotherapist
•To contribute to care plans and physiotherapy assessments in order to optimise independence and physical function
About you:
•Minimum of N/SVQ2 or equivalent. Willing to study for N/SVQ3 or equivalent
•A demonstrable understanding of the health and social care sector work
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•An ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
•IT literate
