Every sale in our 400+ shops helps fund specialist palliative and end-of-life care. For over 70 years, we’ve supported people when it matters most — and we’re looking for a Rotate Van Driver to help us continue that work.

You’ll support your manager and team, inspire your community and help drive income for our vital services, while championing creative ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

We value our people and offer a great work-life balance: 1 in 2 weekends, shifts from 8.45am, most shops finishing by 5.15pm, and Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day off.

Bring your driving and people skills to a role with real purpose.

You’ll be responsible for…
• Responsible for the collection and delivery of stock within agreed timescales across sales territories and regional boundaries.
• To maintain security of stock during transportation and ensure careful handling of stock to minimise losses
• Ensure completion and compliance for all admin processes, reports and paperwork relating to Health and Safety, vehicle checks, fuel purchases, data protection and Gift Aid.
• Ensure your vehicle is legally compliant and clean at all times and all servicing, repairs and MOT are carried out as and when required.
• Use email, google maps to plan effective routes and work schedules taking into account the efficient use of fuel
• Championing the Sue Ryder brand, in-store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.

The ideal candidate would be…

We’re looking for ambitious people who are motivated by making a real difference. If you’re keen to learn, grow and develop while helping us ensure everyone gets the support they deserve, you’ll fit right in.
