Are you an experienced systems administrator looking for an interesting and rewarding role that will make a real difference?

As a Systems Administrator within Sue Ryder’s People Systems team you will provide a customer focused first point of contact to all users of our HR/Payroll System. You will collaborate with employees across Sue Ryder to manage user access requests, and support queries around security management, and basic system set up. Using your knowledge of People Systems, you will investigate issues raised by users, effectively resolve them, and where required escalate to others in the team.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide customer focused first point of contact service for all People system queries and support.
• Proactively investigate and successfully resolve user system issues, escalating complex issues for further investigation to the Systems Specialist, where necessary.
• Maintain security access and profiles, systems configuration and developments; support restructures and change initiatives.
• Support the business through report extraction and provision of key data sets via reporting tools.

About You
This is a really important role for the entire charity. At the heart of it is to be able to provide excellent customer service to all colleagues who need support. Ideally additional skills and experience will include:
• Working with HR/Payroll or Workforce Management Systems. This could be in any capacity across an HR administration, payroll, HR Systems or IT team.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to explain technical things to non-technical people

Essential Criteria
• Experience of providing excellent customer service in a similar type of role
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage and prioritise deadlines.
• Ability to investigate issues through to resolution
• Experience of using software applications including Microsoft packages.
