The role
Reporting to the Head of Recruitment you will play a key role in attracting nurses, doctors, care assistants and nursing assistants to career opportunities across our care centres and hospices nationally. Working as a team alongside three healthcare recruitment administrators you will business partner with hiring managers to understand their needs and create effective resource plans that deliver results. It's an exciting time to join us as we continue to develop and grow our services to be able to deliver more care to more people.
Other responsibilities include:
• Build strong relationships with key hiring managers up to senior management level
• Work collaboratively with our marketing team and other departments to ensure our recruitment adverts are well written and visible to appropriate candidates
• Pro-actively headhunt as and when required
• Ensure all candidates are engaged, have a good experience and receive feedback
• Carry out short listing and telephone screening
• Support the improvement of local recruitment processes to decrease candidate fall out and keep recruitment activity moving at pace
• Keep the applicant tracking system up to date to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
About you
It’s an exciting time to join Sue Ryder and to hit the ground running you will have a solid recruitment background gained from an agency or in-house environment and exposure to recruiting within the healthcare sector. You will have the aptitude to build quick relationships at all levels in order to deliver a good recruitment service as well as the ability to source and manage candidates using CV databases and Linked In.

The Recruitment Team is based in our Sudbury office in Suffolk and travel to this office will be expected 2-3 times each week in addition to care centre and hospice visits as and when required and home working.
