Do you have knowledge of brands, trends and fashion? If so, come and join our team as a Stock Processor and be part of one of the UK’s most recognisable charities and contribute to the work we do across Sue Ryder.
Our growing number of shops are one of the most important ways in which we raise money to support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. So when you work in one, you’re not just helping us to turn a profit – you’re helping to improve the lives of the people we exist to help.
We rely on generous gifts of clothing, bric-a-brac and furniture to raise money for our health & social care work. If you’re confident, a team player, organised and have a keen interest in fashion and clothes, join our team and help us by sorting the stock that comes through our store.
Duties include:
• Awareness of current fashion trends and brand labels
• Knowledge of vintage & retro - identifying items of high value e.g. designer, vintage, collectables
• Process all stock donations to a high standard ensuring compliance with Sue Ryder Policies and Procedures and with regard to items prohibited from sale
• Identify seasonal stock and process or store as necessary
• Identify items for recycling, festivals and pound shops
