An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced health professional to join Sue Ryder’s Clinical Quality Team, supporting Palliative and community services.
As a Quality Improvement Manager you will:
• Actively manage a quality/service improvement agenda across palliative and community services and provide regular reports to the Director of Nursing and Director of Palliative Care and Fundraising.
• Develop the role to be responsive to the changing needs within Sue Ryder and palliative and community drivers, embracing innovation.
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Be educated to degree level in a health related area with specialist knowledge of palliative care delivery or service improvement methodology, acquired through training and relevant experience combined with proven leadership skills and experience at a senior level within a clinical governance/nursing/service improvement role.
You should be politically aware of the climate in which palliative care is delivered, high level communication and networking skills, experience of project management and service improvement methods.
Registered Nursing or AHP qualification with current registration with the HPC or NMC is essential.
