As we expand our current Hospice at Home Service, we are looking for enthusiastic Nursing Assistants to work alongside Registered Nurses to help ensure that our patients and their families experience the best possible care in their own homes. (At times you may be required to cover absence on our in-patient unit within our Leckhampton Hospice building in Cheltenham).
To join us as a Nursing Assistant you will ideally have an NVQ level 2 or be working towards one and some experience of working in a community setting is also preferred. To join us as a Senior Nursing Assistant you must have an NVQ level 3 and community experience.
A full UK driving license with insurance cover that allows business use is required for both positions. Various hours are available on a rota that covers the 24 hour period. Flexibility is required in order to meet the needs of our patients. Night sitting is optional.
