Speciality Doctor in PALLIATIVE MEDICINE
Sue Ryder - Thorpe Hall Hospice Peterborough
Less than full time 6PA/week with additional 1:5 non-resident first on call weeknights and approx. 1:6 on call weekends.
Hours of work: 6PA/week (9am-5pm) with an additional 42 evenings/ year 5-7pm. This equates to 6.75- 9.75PAs per week (inclusive of on call work) with 4% availability supplement for on call work. Proposed days of work – Mon/tues/wed (actual days can be negotiated). 1 SPA is allocated for supporting professional activities. Study leave is available with a supporting budget.
Salary: £37,923 - £70,718 pa pro rata (dependent on previous relevant experience)
An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced doctor to join a committed consultant-led multidisciplinary team delivering inpatient specialist palliative care to the city of Peterborough and its surrounding areas.
You are: an enthusiastic and experienced doctor capable of delivering high quality patient care with full GMC registration, 4 years full time postgraduate training at least 2 of which will be in a relevant specialty and a full UK driving licence. Palliative Medicine experience is desirable.
