Do you have experience within the Retail sector? Do you have knowledge of brands, trends and fashion? If so, come and join the team as a Stock Processer at our large Northampton store and be part of one of the UK’s most recognisable charities and contribute to the work we do across Sue Ryder.
Our growing number of shops are one of the most important ways in which we raise money to support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. So when you work in one, you’re not just helping us to turn a profit – you’re helping to improve the lives of the people we exist to help.
We rely on generous gifts of clothing, bric-a-brac and furniture to raise money for our health & social care work. If you’re confident, a team player and organised, join our team and help us by sorting the stock that comes through our store. A passion for fashion with a knowledge of fashion labels and the ability to spot a bargain would be an advantage.
• Process all stock donations to a high standard ensuring compliance with Sue Ryder Policies and Procedures and with regard to items prohibited from sale
• Identifying items of high value e.g. designer, vintage, collectables
• Awareness of current fashion trends and brand labels
• Identify seasonal stock and process or store as necessary
• Identify items for recycling, festivals and pound shops

At Sue Ryder not only do we treat more conditions than any other UK charity in our hospices, neurological care centres and out in the community; we also campaign to improve the lives of people living with them. We see the person, not the condition, taking time to understand the small things that help that person live the fullest life they can.
