Sue Ryder St Johns Hospice is seeking a Admin Assistant to provide administration support to the new Day Therapy Team. This role is ideal for a proactive administrator with a healthcare background familiar with SystmOne or an equivalent system.
As our Day Therapy Admin Assistant not only will you be updating medical records and assisting with the day to day administration, you’ll also ensure patients and visitors have a welcoming introduction to the service. No two days are the same and this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in healthcare administration
Other responsibilities include:
• Support the team and ultimately take responsibility for the accurate completion of records on systmOne.
• Provide full administrative support to the therapy team with regards to all patient and professional correspondence.
• Production of documentation, including mail merge and spreadsheets using word processing and other software
• Ordering transport for patients
• Manage the effective ordering and rotation of clinical and other supplies for the Day Therapy Service
• Provide Support and cover for other administration staff and the receptionist as appropriate
About you
It’s an exciting time to join Sue Ryder and to hit the ground running you will be a team player who can manage a busy workload. As well as knowledge of a medical records system (preferably SystmOne), you will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft office applications. With your administration experience you will be able to prioritise your workload, use your own initiative, and know when to seek advice, you will be a great asset to our team.
